Jim’s
endearing and outgoing personality, along with his business and
financial acumen, soon saw his business grow from a one-man
operation (with the help of his wife) to a lucrative business
employing 20 staff members and turning over $15 million dollars per
annum.
Having established the successful business and becoming an astute
investor in real estate and share market derivatives, Jim sold his
business at age 48 and is now a self-funded retiree who aspires to
travel and mentor others on investing.
As the group's most gregariously amusing larrikin, during the trip,
Jim will use his wit and vast experience in the food industry to
conduct amusingly boisterous interviews with restaurateurs, chefs
and hoteliers to learn about their businesses, different cuisine's,
cooking styles and ingredients.
Jim
will also act as a character (usually a convict or scoundrel) for
reenactments of some of histories most interesting events.
Jim’s favourite quote:
“If
you’re not living on the edge, you’re wasting space”
